Podpory
(2001)

“The artists restore the dignity of the findings lost because of oblivion and devastation. Honored through the choice of the artists they find their place in the buttress-like installations (Podpory), consisting of pillars built out of little glass cubicles. Without being renewed, without having undergone restoration the findings lie in their miniature glass cases and cry out with the whole authenticity of their wounds. As witnesses of human fate. The process of rehabilitating the findings is further emphasized by the architectural function of the buttresses propping up the ceiling. Thus, the findings are not only witnesses of the past, they also seem to fulfill a useful function within the interior construction of the building. The are re-animated.”
